چکیده

The purpose of this study is to design a real-time current predictive control for wind energy conversion system (WECS) using doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG). A emulator and test bench assessing strategies were conceptualized. DSPACE DS1104 board served as the foundation emulation system. While power indirectly regulated via currents, latter controlled directly by control. Using discrete time, suggests appropriate voltages converter each sample period attain specified set points power. field-oriented employed ensure that two components, axes d q, are decoupled. present was established regulate DFIG’s active reactive capabilities. To begin, thorough examination WECS discussed. Following that, comprehensive description laws based on reference frame orientation offered. As result, simulation done Matlab/Simulink environments assess performance resilience proposed model. then experimentally validated demonstrate its efficacy. observed results reveal an astonishing correlation between simulations experiments.

Computationally Efficient Long Horizon Model Predictive Direct Current ‎Control of DFIG Wind Turbines ‎

Model predictive control (MPC) based methods are gaining more and more attention in power converters and electrical drives. Nevertheless, high computational burden of MPC is an obstacle for its application, especially when the prediction horizon increases extends. At the same time, increasing the prediction horizon leads to a superior response. In this paper, a long horizon MPC is proposed to c...

FPGA Implementation of Predictive Hysteresis Current Control for Grid Connected VSI

Grid connected voltage source inverters (VSIs) are essential for the integration of the distributed energy resources. Hysteresis current control (HCC) is a commonly employed method for power control of VSIs. This control method, in contrast with voltage control, provides good dynamics, good stability and implicit over current protection. However, the most important concern of digital implementa...

Observer backstepping control of DFIG-Generators for wind turbines variable-speed: FPGA-based implementation

In this paper, we present a new contribution for the control of Wind-turbine energy systems, a nonlinear robust control of active and reactive power by the use of the Adaptative Backstepping approach based in double-fed asynchronous generator (DFIG-Generator). Initially, a control strategy of the MPPT for extraction of maximum power of the turbine generator is presented. Thereafter, a new contr...

Analysis and compensation of voltage unbalance of a DFIG using predictive rotor current control

This paper analyzes the unbalance problem of a stand-alone doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) under unbalanced loads and proposes a compensation method to balance the stator output voltage. The proposed compensation method is developed based on a predictive current control (PCC) method implemented in the rotor current controller. The development of the PCC is based on the discrete model of t...
